For a child, the most important visit is the first one. That is why we start with a get-to-know visit: your child sees the treatment room, climbs into the chair on their own, counts their teeth with the doctor and leaves without any unpleasant procedure. This builds trust for all the visits that follow.
The Er:YAG laser is ideal for children because it has none of the noise and vibration of the drill, and most of the time no anaesthesia is needed. A cavity in a baby tooth is treated in 15 to 20 minutes. We also treat infected baby teeth, remove teeth that do not fall out on their own and, together with the orthodontist, monitor how the young patient's jaw develops.
We prevent cavities with fissure sealing of the permanent molars as soon as they come through (at around 6 and around 12 years old) and with fluoride treatment. A check-up every 6 months is recommended.

Frequently asked questions
How much is the first visit?
The first get-to-know visit is free; a consultation costs 100 lei. A cleaning for children costs 300 lei, and laser fissure sealing 200 lei per tooth.
Do baby teeth need treatment if they fall out anyway?
Yes. Baby teeth keep the space for the permanent teeth. An untreated cavity hurts, can become infected and can damage the permanent tooth underneath.
Can I stay with my child?
Yes. During the first visits the parent stays in the treatment room. As children gain confidence, they often prefer to manage on their own.
