Veneers are thin shells, 0.2 to 0.9 mm thick, made from high-quality cosmetic materials and applied to the front surface of the teeth to improve their shape, colour, size and overall appearance. Veneers can correct a range of cosmetic flaws: stained, chipped or worn teeth, teeth with an unattractive shape, gaps between teeth, slight asymmetry or differences in size. Unlike crowns, they do not require the tooth to be ground down all the way round, only a very thin layer of enamel, and sometimes none at all.
Ceramic veneers are made in collaboration with a dental laboratory. They offer translucency and a look close to that of natural enamel. Unlike ceramic veneers, composite veneers are shaped directly at the clinic in a single visit, cost less and are easy to repair. At the consultation we show you what result can be achieved and tell you honestly whether veneers are the right solution for your teeth, or whether braces or whitening would be more suitable.
Veneers are only placed on healthy teeth with gums free of inflammation.

Can people tell that I have veneers?
Not if they are well designed. Ceramic has the translucency of enamel, and we adapt the shape to your face, not to a standard template.
