1. About the website
The website is operated by Dental Protect SRL (trading as Light Dental Clinic), CUI (tax identification number) 12721957, Trade Register (Reg. Com.) number J2000001730401, with its registered office at Str. Luncșoara nr. 5, bl. 75, sc. A, et. P, ap. 1, Sector 2, București, and its place of business at Strada Roma nr. 28, Sector 1, București, 011774 (“the clinic”). By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
2. Medical information on the website
The treatment descriptions and articles are for information only. They do not replace a consultation and do not constitute a diagnosis. Every case is different: the right treatment for you can only be decided by a doctor, after an examination. The results of any treatment depend on the initial condition, on aftercare and on how each person's body responds.
3. Online booking
- The booking form sends the clinic a request, not a confirmed appointment. The time you choose is held for you temporarily.
- The appointment becomes final once a member of the clinic's staff calls you and confirms the day and time with you. If we cannot reach you, we may send you an SMS; if we still get no reply, the request may be cancelled.
- Please enter your real details. Requests with false details, or sent repeatedly, may be refused.
- If you cannot come, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance, by phone or email. We can then offer the free slot to another patient, often someone in pain.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your visit so as not to keep the next patients waiting.
4. Prices and payment
The prices shown on the website are indicative, are given in lei and may be updated. The final price of each stage is the one in the treatment plan you receive after the consultation, which you accept before treatment begins. If a new situation arises during treatment that changes the treatment or its cost, the doctor explains it to you beforehand and continues only with your agreement. Payment is made at the clinic, after each session or according to the stages set out in the plan, and the clinic issues the fiscal documents required by law.
5. Consent to treatment
Before treatment, the doctor explains the diagnosis, the options, the benefits, the risks and the alternatives. Informed consent is signed at the clinic. For minors, consent is given by a parent or legal representative.
6. What we ask you to tell us
For your safety, please tell the doctor about any chronic illnesses, the medicines you take, allergies, pregnancy and any reaction you have had to previous treatments. Incomplete information may affect the outcome of treatment.
7. Use of the website
You may not use the website for unlawful purposes, send requests automatically, attempt to access protected areas or disrupt the operation of the server. We may block access if any such actions occur.
8. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, graphic elements and structure of the website belong to the clinic or are used with the authors' permission. Reproducing them, in whole or in part, without the clinic's written consent is prohibited. You may quote short extracts from articles if you credit the source and include the link.
9. Links to other websites
The website may contain links to external websites (for example, Google Maps or public authorities). We are not responsible for the content or policies of those websites.
10. Limitation of liability
We make every effort to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors. We are not liable for temporary unavailability of the website or for interruptions caused by factors beyond our control.
11. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you are unhappy with anything, please tell us directly, by phone, by email at contactlightdentalclinic.ro or in writing at the clinic. We reply within 30 days at the latest and always look for an amicable solution. As a consumer, you can also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro) and use alternative dispute resolution procedures (SAL), as described on the ANPC website. For matters relating to the practice of dentistry, you can also contact the Romanian College of Dentists (Colegiul Medicilor Dentiști din România).
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts.
13. Changes
We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page.
