Light Dental Clinic has grown organically, out of a wish to stay close to people. We have deliberately kept the atmosphere of a welcoming practice, where every patient feels listened to, understood and safe.

Priority: keeping your natural teeth

We do everything medically possible to save the tooth. Extraction and implants are always the last resort, not the first option.

Minimally invasive laser dentistry: no drill, no vibration, no fear

The Er:YAG dental laser replaces the mechanical drill. It gives the best results in treating tooth decay, gum disease and bad breath (halitosis), and in oral surgery. For the patient, minimally invasive treatment means a different experience at the dentist: gentler, more comfortable and stress-free.

No anaesthesia in many cases: for small and medium cavities, an injection is often no longer needed.
No vibration and no drill noise: quiet, comfortable treatment, well suited to children and anxious patients.
Reliable, long-lasting results: laser light sterilises the cavity deep down and lowers the risk of decay returning under the filling.
Faster healing: thanks to minimally invasive techniques, procedures involve less bleeding and usually need no stitches.
Gentle treatment for periodontitis: the laser effectively removes bacteria from the gum pockets, in most cases with no need for surgery.

With more than 30 years of uninterrupted clinical experience, Dr. Sergiu Calancea has treated whole generations of patients, building his practice on respect, patience and clinical precision.

His philosophy starts from a simple conviction: every patient deserves to understand their options and to have the time they need to make an informed decision. He combines professional experience with modern, minimally invasive technology such as the Er:YAG dental laser and digital scanning, with the main aim of preserving the patient's natural teeth whenever possible.

Education: Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Chișinău (1988-1993)

With more than 20 years of experience in dental nursing, Camelia is the heart of our practice and someone patients trust: her professionalism, empathy and attention to every detail create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the very first visit.

She is responsible for meeting the strictest sterilisation and hygiene standards, so that every visit takes place in a safe, clean and calm environment. She carries out professional cleanings with a gentle touch and patiently explains the best ways to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
